the Pacifica Statue stood Treasure Island. She was erected as the theme statue of the 1939-40 San Francisco World’s Fair.

TREASURE ISLAND IS MOVING TOWARD A FUTURE

as the country’s leading example of sustainable redevelopment, our organization is aiming to return Pacifica to her former glory as a significant work of public art and a cultural asset to our region. We view her as a bridge that connects a critical chapter in San Francisco history with the innovative and progressive future that is becoming Treasure Island.
