The Peace Maker’s Wall represented many views of peace from all over the world. The largest figures on the wall appear to be the Buddha with the Virgin Marry. What an incredibly progressive sight.
We wanted to highlight this amazing image. These young sailors standing in front of the mural gives such foreshadowing of the Navy take over of Island in preparation for WWII. This murals representation of peace was surely before it’s time. Luckily, the powerful sentiment remains with us on film.
