’39-40 San Francisco World’s Fair: Nighttime Illumination

Back in 1939, at the age of 18 – before America’s entrance into WWII and before joining the Navy and Marines; before marrying the effervescent Beverly; before welcoming 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren – Randy Callahan took his fancy new Argus C3 camera with him to the San Francisco World’s Fair on Treasure Island to take some pictures. He could never have imagined the legacy those pictures would eventually represented to his life or his family.
