The Pacifica II Project works to raise grassroots funds for the resurrection of a permanent version of the 80-foot statue that once stood on Treasure Island during the ’39-40 San Francisco Worlds Fair. Founded by Sal DeGuarda in 2005, it is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
