The Pacifica Statue Project is seeking a written contributor.
We seek a perceptive, quick-witted individual with a creative mindset to help us develop our media presence.
About
This is a highly creative project that will have a substantial impact on morale in our region and country. We want someone who can enthusiastically join our team and be our rockstar written contributor. We are looking for an individual who finds resonance in our mission and is excited about finding creative ways to connect the Bay Area’s past with it’s progressive future.
Currently this position centers on a strong ability to be self-directed and work remotely. With the project director, weekly meetings and deliverables will be defined and elaborated upon.
Responsibilities include:
• Contribute to our bi weekly blog
• Review, research and compile information related to our project
• Brain storm avenues for promotional opportunities
•Connect our message to greater community
• Collaborate and strategize with project managers
• Incorporate feedback and edits
Qualifications
• Related to the fields of Arts and Journalism, the applicant must an undergraduate or recent college graduate
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent research, analytic, and writing skills
• A commitment to community and artistic involvement
• Passion and profound interest in the culture and history of the Bay Area
• A grasp of effective time management strategies and the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Blogging experience a plus
• Small business and financial industry experience a plus
